崇明的主要道路以直线为主，平而直，一眼无尽头，如果想知道直线是什么样的，那就到崇明来骑车吧。道路两旁林木繁多，绿树成荫，而且每段路的风格都不一样，富于变化，东西线主要是北边的北沿公路和中间的陈海公路，车少路宽。沿江大堤视野开阔，松树成林，芦苇成片，苇、江、天一线，江风清爽，可谓美哉。
